Jesus taught, "for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?’ And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:35-40 NRSV)
As Christ followers, the people of Oasis Ministries Group eagerly follow the teachings of Jesus about seeking to care for the needs of others in our community and around the world. Oasis Ministries Group allocates a portion of all of the donations we receive, to our MORE (missions, outreach, relief, and evangelism) fund to support this work within our community, either by Oasis Ministries Group directly or by other organizations equipped to do the work. Recipient organizations we have supported from our MORE Fund have included the following:

CCEJ is a human relations organization dedicated to eliminating bias, bigotry and racism through education, conflict resolution and advocacy. All people have value and dignity, yet not everyone has the same access or opportunity. Stereotyping, prejudice, hate crimes and violence are realities that impact our communities. CCEJ intentionally works where differences collide and conflict exists — in schools, businesses and neighborhoods. At CCEJ, we respond to hate and discrimination by building cultures of connection, respect and accountability.
EAP was founded to help improve the lives of the people of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in a holistic and sustainable manner. We believe strongly that everything we do should be self-sustaining and done with our local partners on the ground in East Africa. Every project must be agreed upon by both partners, and self-sustaining within two years. We truly have two minds, but one heart for the people of East Africa.
Feeding America helps provide meals to people in need through a network of food banks and helps address root causes of hunger. In a country that wastes billions of pounds of food each year, it's almost shocking that anyone in America goes hungry. Yet every day, there are millions of children and adults who do not get the meals they need to thrive. We work to get nourishing food – from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers – to people in need. At the same time, we also seek to help the people we serve to build a path to a brighter, food-secure future.
MicroGrants gives grants of around $1000 for low-income people of potential to invest in their lives. The grants are designed to help people increase their income either through small business development or getting and retaining stable employment. We believe in eliminating poverty through work! Investments are usually made in three areas: education, small business development, and transportation.
Our Mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That is why we focus our work in three areas: nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation’s health and well-being, and giving back and providing support to our neighbors
